Nicole Cavataio, RTT
Nicole Cavataio is one of our friendly radiation therapists. Her passion is treating skin cancer. Originally from Owego, NY, she started her education in a Radiologic Technology program. She then decided to pursue an associates degree in Radiology at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. At that time she was introduced to radiation therapy and she immediately knew it was what she wanted to pursue as a career. She continued her education at Upstate Medical University to receive her Bachelors degree in radiation therapy. She fell in love with radiation therapy because she saw her relationship develop with patients and how she can have a positive impact on them during a difficult time.
When she is not at work she enjoys being outdoors trying new places to eat, and playing with her cat. Having moved from upstate New York she surely enjoys the weather down here and does not miss the cold northern winters!
