Kimberly is a board-certified physician assistant.
Following the start of her career in Chapel Hill, she is now a valued member of our team at Fora Dermatology. She is eager to build strong relationships with her patients and is dedicated to helping them achieve their healthiest, most radiant skin.
Education
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with distinction from UNC Chapel Hill in 2017. She then furthered her studies at East Carolina University where she graduated in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Expertise
After two years of working as a medical assistant for a dermatology office prior to PA school, Kimberly knew she would pursue a career in dermatology upon graduation. Keeping to this aspiration, she began practicing under an intensive year-long residency with her former office in Chapel Hill in January 2022 where she established a strong foundation in medical dermatology. She is motivated by the opportunity to treat a wide demographic including an array of ages, skin tones, and medical conditions that can affect both the physical and mental health of her patients.
Personal life
Kimberly spent her childhood along the coast in Wilmington, NC, and recently relocated to her permanent residence in Charlotte with her husband, Mike, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Ellie.
Outside of the office, Kimberly likes to spend her time hitting the gym, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
